Trucklebarn was founded by Nikki Young when she became the proud owner of her first GSP and foundation bitch, PJ, in 2007.

Prior to GSPs Nikki owned Cocker Spaniels, however, once a GSP owner she has never looked back and has been passionate about GSPs ever since.

Nikki is a hobby breeder, which means that her GSPs are primarily family pets and all puppies are raised with love and affection in the family home where they are used to the busyness of family life, and from day one, being with children.

Nikki enjoys breeding puppies, not only because it is so much fun, but she finds pleasure in the joy they bring to others when they make the choice to make a GSP a member of their family.

Nikki remains in contact with everyone who has a Trucklebarn puppy through her What's App group, offering a lifetime of advice and support as, when and if required. The group also allows all Trucklebarn GSP owners to interact with each other and watch the journeys of fellow Trucklebarn puppies as they grow.
